Terms of Service

Last updated July 21, 2026

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of MeroWallet (“the app”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. What MeroWallet is

MeroWallet is a manual finance tracker. It helps you record your accounts, transactions, budgets, and investment holdings so you can see them in one place. MeroWallet does not connect to your bank, does not initiate payments or transfers, and never holds or moves your money. Every number in the app comes from what you type in.

3. Your account

You need an email and password to use MeroWallet. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Let us know if you think someone else has access to it.

4. Your data

You own the data you enter into MeroWallet. You can edit or delete it at any time from within the app, and you can ask us to delete your account and all associated data (see the Privacy Policy for how).

5. Sharing with a partner or family members

MeroWallet lets you optionally link a partner or add family members to share parts of your financial picture with them. That sharing only happens if you set it up yourself, and only covers what the feature is designed to share. Anyone you link with can see the shared data through their own account.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for anything unlawful or fraudulent.
  • Try to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data.
  • Probe, scan, or attempt to disrupt the app's infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer or resell the app without our written permission.

7. Not financial advice

MeroWallet displays summaries, totals, and charts based on the numbers you provide. Nothing in the app is financial, investment, accounting, or tax advice, and you shouldn't treat it as such. Talk to a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

8. Availability and changes

MeroWallet is provided “as is,” without guaranteed uptime. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time, and the app may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or updates.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeroWallet is provided without warranties of any kind, and we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions you make based on the data it displays.

10. Termination

You can stop using MeroWallet and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
