Privacy Policy

MeroWallet is a manual finance tracker built by a solo developer. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and how it's handled. The short version: MeroWallet only stores what you type into it, doesn't connect to your bank, and doesn't sell or share your data with advertisers.

We collect only what's needed to run the app:

• Account info — your email address and password, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase).
• Financial data you enter — accounts, balances, transactions, budgets, recurring items, and investment holdings you add yourself.
• Preferences — settings like theme and tracking mode, so the app looks and behaves the way you left it.

We never ask for or store bank logins, card numbers, or other bank credentials — MeroWallet has no bank-connection feature, so there's nothing like that to collect.

Your data is used to show you your own dashboard, charts, and summaries — nothing more. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't analyze it for any purpose beyond running the features you see in the app.

Data is stored with Supabase, a hosted Postgres database and authentication provider, encrypted in transit and at rest. We don't run our own servers to store your financial data outside of Supabase's infrastructure.

MeroWallet doesn't sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. The only sharing that happens is the sharing you set up yourself — for example, linking a partner or adding a family member so they can see the parts of your data those features are designed to share.

MeroWallet uses only the session cookies needed to keep you signed in, set by our authentication provider. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete individual accounts, transactions, or other records yourself at any time from within the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email prathamgarg456@gmail.com and we'll remove it.

We rely on Supabase's security practices (encryption in transit and at rest, access controls at the database level) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

MeroWallet isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the “last updated” date above.
